Just a passerby here, but I think that's referring to the war of 1812? When Canada was a British Colony the White House was burned down by British/Canadian Troops.

I'm from the meme, but I didn't want to comment there because of the discussion going on. It's a bit extreme, really, when there are shota fics and necrophilia fics that don't gather wank whatsoever. Your fills always get ridiculously unjustified wank attached to them and it's really not fair. As you've probably worked out, I’ve read some of your fics before, but I’ve not commented here because I don't have an lj account, but if you're okay with anon comments for now, I might as well leave something! :)

You have a fresh take on the face dynamic - I’m not sure it's quite this extreme, but I don't think the sunshine-and-roses lifestyle people usually write them as having is correct either. It's interesting to see a different interpretation, and you certainly deliver one. If Hetalia was darker, I think pretty much every country in the series would have a relationship like this, if they were as fundamentally human as they seem - many fics only truly humanise the characters in literal human AUs, and fics where they're actually countries

I very much like darker Hetalia fanfiction, especially revenge fics. I enjoyed reading this one. My only complaint is that I wish there was a bit more back story.
