It... god, with each new part, it only gets better.

I... I honestly can't say anything other then that. To point out my favourite parts would just be me copying and pasting every single word.

Francis pleads, pressing kisses over Arthur’s cheek, as though lips will sprout with each kiss he plants there.

Though I do have to admit that for some reason, I adore this line. I don't know why, the imagery just gets me.

Oh god, I'm so glad that I had tissues on hand when I was reading this. It's absolutely beautiful. I really love seeing the contrast between what they had as nations, and what they're getting to build now with Arthur finally seeing what he was blind to before, with him being able to make things right this time around.

Arthur freezes, and he looks into Francis’s face, sees the softness and respect and love so intense that it hurts. And he remembers when he called that smile a leer and claimed those eyes were filled with lust, but it’s the same, oh God, it’s just the same.

This line utterly broke me. It's just so perfect and painful.

And I love the sweet ending too. Makes me grin like a loon.

Gorgeous as always ^^

I'm so glad that you enjoyed this. I admit, I was relieved for Arthur, too - he's not at the point yet where he's able to let go of his past, but he's getting there, i think. And that's half the battle.

Thank you for your comment!

I don't know how you do it. And it's fucking frustrating! You manage to come out with the most wonderful stories almost every week! It's utterly astounding!

And I'll admit, this one did make me a little teary-eyed.

I write. Like, a lot. Almost every day, if I can. a-and that's really, really kind, to hear it coming from you, because you're pretty damn awesome, too

I hope they were tears of the good kind. <3

Thank you so much for your review!

Aha...I guess it must be mostly the fact that I try to get into my stories and characters? Because otherwise I'll have to be stuck with myself and my unpleasant thoughts, and that's never fun. Not at all! You're a wonderful writer yourself.

Oh. All right then. *hugs, cookies, and tissues*
