aaaah I love wombats. I did an essay on the northern hairy nosed wombat this year for uni, it is one of the most endangered animals with only about 80 left in the wild. Reading about the efforts to conserve this amazing unique creature and the research going into them really cemented my dream to work in conservation research in Australia.
