Spoilers: Takes place after ep 101 (8x09) after Pepa and Silvia have become engaged. This is a sequel to my previous PepSi fanfic, In Love’s Defense. My fic follows LHDP up to ep 101 but departs from the show at that point - ep 104 never has and never will exist in this version of Pepa and Silvia’s world.

I actually wrote In Love's Defense a lot faster than I'm writing this fic, so hopefully those cliffhangers weren't as bad if you were reading as I was writing. I've got my muse back now, so now that I'm into the cliffhanger parts of this story, I hope I won't keep folks waiting so long!

Thank god the medical stuff is somewhat accurate! I winced and said "oh shit!" when I read you were getting your medical degree (which is awesome, by the way!) since that means someone's reading this who knows what they're talking about! Certainly not everything I'll write about will be accurate since I have no knowledge and I'm fictionalizing some parts, but I try. I admit my research consists of a lot of Google searching! And if I get stuff wrong, I appreciate any feedback!

I'm not a fan of Trujillo either! He was such an asshole in the show, so he was an easy pick to expand on and make him more of an asshole for my fan fic purposes! :D
