you can hear, see, and smell the setting around the characters, the discriptions are solid and come to life.
The emotions ring true for both characters. Though if I'm gonna be honest I'm a little confused with what you were trying to potray in it.
I'm not sure if you're trying to write a parent and child understanding.
Or if you were trying to portray that John was in Love (In Love) with Sarah and was admitting that for her by the Lines.
"I Can't live without you."
and
""I love you" There he said it!"
As a Fan of the show with an incredibly open mind, I've been know to be a provayer of Jarah from time to time, so their's no judgement here.
It's beautifully written, and the truth is it can work both ways either way it was written.
I just got to know if it was Romantic or not.

In answer to your question, I wasn't trying to portray John/Sarah from a romantic pov, just as a platonic mother/son. But you're right that it can be seen either way, and I'm fine with that. I haven't heard of the Jarah shipper term tho - lol!
I personally see Sarah and John as a platonic mother and son who having a bone-deep love for one another, but have extreme difficulty in expressing it, which was where the 'I love you' line came from. They never say 'I love you' to each other until Born to Run in SCC, or when Sarah's under extreme emotional stress, like the moment when she says it to John in T2.
It's such a complex relationship between John and Sarah, which is beautifully acted between the lines by Lena and Thomas in SCC - I love how fans can take it and intepret their performances in all different kinds of ways.
Thanks for reading!
