As much as I love my shmups, the narrow-mindedness of that forum irks me so.

This sounds like the kind of game that would be released for PC - and it's a shame it wasn't. Imagine the modding opportunities!

Wow, that was quick.

Nice to finally see some solid human-to-R-Type scaling (I don't trust the sprited ones that much)! It's about the size I've been using all this time!

Seems tedious, but then, so was Disgaea, and I ended up liking that. I don't think I'll be able to figure this one out in Japanese without pulling hair, though. :( Just gotta sit back and pray for a translated release.
