I always need to have noise in the apartment, and music actually takes a lot of concentration for me (singing along, thinking 'wouldn't this song be great for this character/scene/etc.') so I tend to watch familiar TV shows. Did you know there was another one?

IE: There were TWO television attempts at "The Tick." One was animated and had Die Fliedermaus and American Maid and ran for three whole seasons, or so Wikipedia tells us.

The other was a live action one with Bat Manuel and Lady Liberty. I've been watching that on crackle.com.

The live action one had the better Tick character, tho the animated one seemed to have better quotable moments. ("An object at rest CANNOT BE STOPPED!")

Live action, and it's hilarious. I have the cartoon in my Netflix queue, just haven't gotten them yet. When the semester's over I'm going to look up the comic book too.
