- I am turning 24 in fifteen days. For some reason, I'm really nervous/sad about this. I've never felt anything but excited for a birthday before, so that is sort of weird

It didn't occur to me until a couple months ago that being 24 is a little terrifying. I mean, I'm in my mid-twenties! Suddenly, I realize I'm an adult, and my youth is slipping between my fingers, and that I've never really lived. Or so it seems.

Hope that didn't terrify you more. The point was that I understand feeling weird about this age.

I just realized the other day that I was 23. I think I had it in my mind that I was 22, and in just a split second I had aged a year. It was really scary. Also, I was drinking Sparks, so that sort of intensified everything that was slightly scary.
