The roast thing? No, it doesn't sound funny to me, either - but I loved the Shatner-Nimoy preview video. :-)

the Roasts started back with the Dean martin roasts were they would sits at a big table and very loveingly make fun of what ever actor it was in the hot seat. and back then it was done as family entertainment.

i have seen clips from them and they are really funny, now that comedy central is doing them i have not watched a single one, but its shanter and there is no way i can miss something with him in it. so i think it wil be ok the adverts i have seen are funny but not too mean, and Bill was red faced laughing so he looked like he enjoyed it..so im excited about the show.

Hopefully, they won't take the joke too far. But Shatner seems to laugh pretty easily, these days. :-)
