I have a new computer! It's a very shiny, all-in-one unit (a massive 23" and is touchscreen for reasons that I don't understand, but like touching nonetheless). Also, after much crying, and the almost complete destruction of my old computer, I managed to remove the hard drive (seriously, do they glue them in there?), temporarily plugged it up to my ( Read more... )

Touchscreen? WOOOT!! Is it good and comfy? How do you do for icons?

It's very shiny - and the screen is huge - I can watch tv and icon at the same time :D

I'm not sure yet about the icons - as you saw before ;D I'll be posting the next batch shortly(ish) and checking with everyone about the brightness/contrast - my icons look different, but that may be a good thing :)

OMG want!

In my opinion, those icons are perfect. I like how more "airy" they are. They are a bit less sharpened but I like it too. Maybe one Chris close up was a bit too bright on his noise but yet the pic is like this and it is hard to work on already b&w shoots.
And yes it is a good thing. I totally changed of style when I had my new computer.

Shucks, thanks hun. I don't tend to sharpen much actually, only because I tend to oversharpen when I do :) Do you mean this one? - yeah, I spent ages on that one, just tweaking the contrast. May play a bit more.
My style has yet to change, but the colouring certainly looks like it may ;)
