Yeah, so I'm pretty stoked for the HBO Game of Thrones series. It looks good in every relevant way!

I just finished reading the book, specifically so I could watch the show and squee over what they get right!

This does seem like the sort of show that one watches with a big group of friends, who have also read the book, so that one can chat afterward about what they did right or wrong.

In any case, the roughly 15 minute introductory clip is pretty satisfying.
