Applebees, Fridays, Chilis, Cheddars... they are all the same bullshit. Chain restaurants destroy the ideas of culinary diversity and expression.

hah well sometimes its convenient going to a place and having a general expectation about the menu, service, and quality of food. Plus these types of restaurants usually have convenient locations and sometimes the food is actually decent.

Not to say I don't enjoy trying local places but that can also be hit-or-miss. I'm looking forward to having a few places nearby once I get back to Arlington/Ft. Worth (Bethany's and Nizza Pizza come to mind) as well as finding new places, especially now that I'll be living on the Ft. Worth side.
