Wow, it truly has been a long while since I have posted anything in this journal, and even longer since I posted any actual fanfiction. I wonder if anyone is still keeping tabs here. Well, I shall speak my words into the vast beyond of the interwebs and hopefully someone out there hears them, at the very least, I feel I should give a little update

Hee! I have to admit I blinked at my screen a bit when this popped up in my flist, but it all came back to me when I clicked through. I stopped reading QaF fanfiction a LONG time ago, but I still totally remember yours and I'd love to read the rest of your unfinished stories.

But what tickles me pink is that you've signed up for Supernatural's BigBang! Ah! I got into SPN just after last year's BB, so this is my first time signing up. We'll see what happens. Eek! My story's set to be crackalicious. ;) I'll be sure to keep my eye out for yours. Can't wait!

In any case, I am so sorry that you lost all of your writing when your JumpDrive died. I would have gone into mourning, too. No question. It's totally brave and admirable that you're even considering going back and finishing these things. Really cool, actually. I don't know if I could do it to my own writing.

Like you, it's been some time since I've read in QAF fiction, but I'm glad to hear you would still be interested in seeing my work finished. It really just didn't sit right with me having those stories incomplete

Totally understandable that you're frustrated having to re-write things. I...can't even imagine how hair-pulling-ly awful that is, especially since you liked the way they were to start with.

And yay for SPN! That's awesome that you've been writing for that fandom. If you feel comfortable, you should let us all know which fic is yours! I'd love to read it. :)

Like tigbit, I had to look twice to make sure I was seeing the right name. It's good to see you back. I always enjoyed your writing.

It sucks that you lost all your writings. I keep meaning to back up my stuff on an external hard drive but have yet to do so.

I would definitely recommend backing everything up. You don't think it's important until it really really is.

I really didn't know my stuff was still circulating, although there have been a few comments just recently, which did in fact surprise me, but it's great to hear I am not forgotten!

No one has anything that has not been posted on one of my various LJs. The important stuff was the stuff that hadn't made it to posting yet, like new chapters to fics, and rough notes and stuff, which is now completely irretrievable.

Oh well, I will soldier on.

OMG I live in absolute fear of losing my hard drive! I can't imagine trying to rebuild the contents.
