I was just reminded of how you get so eloquent when you are intoxicated. You always talked about the craziest stuff, and used a wider vocabulary than you do when sober. That was always a favorite thing of mine.

They say when you smoke you revert to a more child-like state of mind. When I was young I could spend my time and energy with thought exercises and research. It's sad to say but the energy I have to put into surviving in this adult world and building "social character" has dulled me. I rarely meet intelligent people anymore and I merely speak to communicate. I miss being a precocious kid with the future ahead of me; it's something I write about a lot, when I write at all anymore.
