We did it -- we booked our honeymoon! We found a great deal and didn't want to risk the rising price of gas making the price go up before we booked it (er, yeah, {ahem}me and my wedding ticket{ahem} not like that ever happens). We're staying in an awesome location and we're going to be there for seven whole nights -- way longer than I've ever been

Thanks a lot for the info -- I actually know Paris pretty well, having been several times; my husband has never been, though, so I'm looking forward to showing him around. :) You hit a lot of my faves in this list already!

visit La Mosque (near rue Mouftard) and have a mint tea at the middle eastern restaurant around the corner
sunny day -- go to La Chapelle (not off the beaten path, but sure is beautiful)
gardens of Rodin museum
garden right behind Le Louvre -- Cour d'Honneur etc
Sunday morning after mass -- go to St Sulpice for organ concert
icecream on Ile St Louis -- Berthillion
