The thing about religious conversion is that it's supposed to come with some sort of emotional high that eventually fades, and all that jazz. Well, this time, it's been nothing. I'm still not really big on attending services, still not clapping for Jesus, still...it's all the same

Read Augustine's Confessions. He was surprised to discover that his conversion wasn't the end of the story, but the beginning.

Many have suggested this. I find that also to be true so far in life, but yet, there is a long journey ahead. Thank you, my friend. :)

Although good feelings and highs are nice, as hard as it may be for all of us, they're not something to ultimately put our trust in. It's not the exact same for everone I don't think. I pray you persevere in Christ! :-)
