Personal accomplishments: "good job"-worthy...

If you've heard me bitch about how I hate people telling me in a superior voice, "good job" for inane personal accomplishments that have nothing to do with overcoming difficulty or displaying exemplary skill (ie: an "A" on a paper), then you know it makes me feel like a child being affirmed by a parental figure whose approval I didn't need in the ( Read more... )

Heh. I'm trying to decide what to get...but by golly, I so deserve a new one...

It'll probably be awhile before I get the artbooks I want, but I feel better knowing that I've started putting little by little away for them. :3

haha I'm kidding. but way to go. becoming fiscally responsible is hard nowadays, what with all the pressure to buy rather than save. Being frugal isn't very popular.

You know, it really isn't popular at all. It really sucks being the one always turning down invitations to go out because I know they will lead to several ways of having to spend money: cover charge, drinks, eating out, movie, etc.

I have plenty of fun on my own or doing my own random free activities, but sometimes it can be hard to convince others that quiet evenings spent together inside can be fun, too.

Oh wells. Who's gonna retire a millionaire and pay off her student loans in a timely manner? MEEEE. Fuckers. Lol.

Yay, congrats on paying off your credit card! Being frugal and meeting financial goals is never fun, but the rewards are there in the end. We should meet sometime next semester, assuming you have time.
