So this year, being the anti-social child that I am, I decided I wasn't going to go to any Halloween parties. I didn't go last year, either, but that was because my parents were in town and my dad got super sick. I even managed to keep a part of that promise - there was a party Friday that I did NOT attend

Halloween costumes are the best. I will be Tinkerbell tonight for the party Mike is dragging me to.

And I certainly see no reason why your hair can't be curly, but then again, it's always fun to go straight for a day. Sounds like your costume is going to be totally awesome! Have tons of fun!

Oooh Tinkerbell sounds fun! I originally thought about being a fairy, but I couldnt' find a fairy costume, outside of wings. Being a vampire is relatively easy though, just wear all black :)

I'm thinking about staying curly just because if it's warm there then the hair will start doing some frizz thing if I straighten it. Decisions decisions.

Don't blame NaNo, blame school! If I didn't have school I would for sure be online lots :) Actually, I don't know how much I'll actually resist the LJ thing, we'll see how things go.

Sadly, I have wings for like, every occassion. Fairy (in three colors), angel, lady bug, butterfly, black death-like ones. Clearly I wish I could fly. Or something, because I don't really care for heights.

Staying curly would definitely be the way to go then. Especially if you end up in a place with lots of people that is warm and humid. Bad hair!

OOooh I could do with black death ones. Pity you don't live here :) Wings are fun, totally understandable if one has many pairs. Instacostume, and they're super cheap, too.

I think I'm keeping it curly, it will take less time.

I want fairy wings. I'm always tempted to buy them when I seem them but haven't yet. I want a tiara too.

And maybe wear lots of socks, like three pairs or more or something to help fill the shoes.

I was considering being a fairy princess, but I couldn't find a tiara. Also I don't have a 'princess' outfit.

The problem is the shoes are dress heels and my skirt is short, so socks won't work at all. I'm considering shoe inserts; I'd need them anyway if I wore the shoes for school stuff since I usually wear hose.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the big party thing either, even though I did so much of it at the start of last year. It's just not for me. But we'll see how the party goes. It's going to rain and be cold tomorrow so I'm not so sure about this whole dressing up bit.

It's more of a class party - our entire class is invited. Actually the one friday night was also a class party now that I think about it. So it's not a specific invite type of thing.

I think I'm sticking with curly because it's going to be raining apparently. Rain and flat-ironed hair do NOT mix.
