I took last Friday off work to go camping with:

I really need to get out and do more fun B.C. things.. we're talking about going zip trekking soon with people from work, there are just so many good things to do around here! I've never even been to the suspension bridge!

It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I'd swum in phosphorescence before, but that was really something special.

I know I've had some completely magical experiences on long west coast beaches. On the first trip I ever took with a boyfriend we ended up on the beach in front of Frank Island in Tofino and there were so many shallow tidal pools and so many stars out that you couldn't tell where the beach ended and where the sky started (cheesy, but it really did look that way.)
That was the same trip I saw phosphorescence for the first time and it blew my mind.

and a little creepy, but seriously my favorite outfit last fall was that cranberry aa sweatshirt, grey jeans and dark brown mocs. hahaha.

I love that there was a coffee shop at the campsite LOL. On a rainy camping trip though I kinda think that would be nice to have.
Overall though I'm definitely a "do your business in the woods 'cause we're twenty minutes away from an outhouse" kind of camper.

Yeah, I think we all were hoping for a bit more of a wilderness experience, but the last night there worked out really well. Maybe next time we'll do some bushwhacking and just set up camp somewhere out of the way...
