Well, for all of my faults (and I have many), lacking tenacity isn't one of them. I'm famous for being entirely all or nothing, so when I fell for Jack and Renee, I fell really really really hard. It's still hard for me to admit that they have surpassed Mulder and Scully in my crazy shipper love, because Mulder and Scully held that title for well over ten years. WELL over. But I'm only being honest. I had so much less of Jack and Renee (obviously -- didn't we all?), but as I said in the final question there, they were just . . . kind of created to make someone with my personality crazy. Sigh.
And honestly? I don't want to not love them. I just wish the show had treated Renee a fuck ton better. But Jack and Renee are my favorites. I mean look at them in your beautiful icon Kay made. They're just fucking gorgeous.
I.... can't even think of answers for half of these questions. Thanks for thinking of me re. Angel!
Now I'm kinda sad I missed the first round of Luke and Laura on GH. I came in when Felicity (?) showed up as the super-blonde Mexican princess, and then they had the Australian cop dude. They also had a party where they were all drinking these absolutely ginormous bottles of water, and it was the first time I'd ever seen bottled water, so I was like, "They each get their own bottle of vodka? Even the Police Commissioner? Woah. I hope no one has to drive home..." See what a sheltered life I lead?
I totes agree with Monica and Chandler, even though I liked the show. My favourite RL pairing is Nina and George Mason, because, giggle. Otherwise, I don't really care who the actors are screwing in RL.
I love Elizabeth and D'Arcy! Wuthering Heights, OTOH, does nothing for me. I'm sorry

Hee! I'm never sure how much to say about Angel because I know you know some stuff. But Fred's story arc is so integral to S5 and if you don't know the details, I don't want to spoil that for you.
The Australian cop dude! Robert! I had the biggest crush on him I can't even tell you. I shipped him and Anna (well and him and Holly before that) so hardcore it's not even funny. But yes, in truth when I really got into GH it was about the same time you did, and I was so into Frisco and Felicia the ridiculous Mexican princess. My sister used to let me watch GH with her, so I did catch a decent amount of Luke and Laura on their first go-round (though not the forever controversial rape/seduction scene people in soaps still argue about). They were hot, awesome, and hilarious.
I so do not care which actors are screwing in RL, as long as they are not two halves of a ship I adore. Because there lies badness.
Oh, no worries on the Wuthering Heights. It's one of my top five favorite book ever, but I realize it's pretty fucked up. I have Pride

Felicia! That was her name. All that hair had me confused.
I couldn't get into Studio 60. I think it was because all the snappy dialogue and pediconferencing felt too much like West Wing, and it was too soon. Well, not really, as I pretty much stopped watching West Wing once they got into the whole impeachment thing.
Last night I figured out why I've stuck with Mad Men: it's the visuals. Every scene is so beautifully shot, and the colours are so amazing, I'm in love with it. It's like a living, breathing, Edward Hopper painting. Plus, I love marketing, so when they do good ad pitches, that entertains me. The characters? Not so much.
That hair had everyone confused. Wtf? I recall being highly envious of it at the time though. How embarrassin'.
It's likely that my Studio 60 love results from the fact that I could never stand TWW, so I never watched it. Also, what's a pediconference? It makes me feel as if it would be a chat between toes.
Okay, I can totally see loving Mad Men for the visuals. You're right that it's absolutely gorgeous, and I can also see you enjoying the advertising angle because of what you do. The storylines just make me suicidal, and since I loathe all the characters, woe!
♥♥♥ for everything you said about Mulder/Scully and Jack/Renee. I love them so much.
I completely agree with what you said about Snape, too- I've heard of him being shipped with so many different people and I'm just like "...really?" >.>

AUGH ME TOO. I always remind myself that of my two favorite ships ever of life, at least one of them did NOT screw me. Like, at all. Well, if you pretend that the second movie was never made. And even that isn't tragic, unless you consider stupidity tragic;)
Yeah, Snape shipping what? The man is meant to be alone. I get weirdly off on his thing for Lily Potter, but given that she starts out dead, ummmmmmm. Yeah.
As for The Sound of Music, I swear I was trying to think of a TV/movie wedding I even enjoyed, and that's what I came up with! Hehe. Oh, I love the Captain and Maria!
