I take issue with there being no "all of the above" choice for the fic question, but you hooked me with the talk of the Renee with the Russians AU.

And sorry about the new job stress, but probably also focusing on writing will help with that? Mine definitely recedes when I have fun fic to despair over.

You didn't take the poll! I want to know who you think is the fairest of them all! LOLOLOLOL.

Well the advantage of the way the Renee with the Russians one works is that it's only 2400 words long, although how I would pull of a fer realz story arc with that remains a mystery even to me. It would have to be like a story archipelago.

YES, I definitely need something to sink my brain into that isn't just like HYPERVENTILATING OMG I CAN'T DO THIS MOAR HYPERVENTILATING. But I also need to choose something to write that won't make me even more stressed than the upcoming job, yikes.

I did, I did! Maybe it didn't go through? I'll try again but SPOILER ALERT, I think Tina Fey is the fairest of them all.

A story archipelago, how fancy! That sounds interesting but also hard, for sure go with the thing that causes the least hyperventilating. No need to add to the job stress!

Oh, it must be on delayed reaction or something, because my gmail notifier went off when I was TRYING to drag my ass upstairs to find gym clothes, lol. Motivation, where are you?

Hee, Tiny Fey. I wish I liked comedy shows, because then I could have watched 30 Rock. I'm confused though, because RB already started, right? So which show are you anticipating at a level of 12?

Well, many things sound fancy in my head that come out less than fancy on paper;) Fingers crossed, I swear.

I'm so sorry work is making you so stressed out! *hugs* I hope that whatever you do choose to write, it will be helpful to you in relieving your stress + having your brain have something else to focus on!

The fairest of them all question made me realize how much of a female/feminine connotation that word has for me (and, I mean, it makes sense, since only Snow White and the queen were the ones in competition for "fairest of them all", and stories always talk about fair maidens but never about fair knights/gentleman- unless you're talking about "fair" in a justice sense :P /ramble)

I'm so excited for you that you have The Walking Dead new season to look forward to!!! It makes me so happy that you have another show, ship, and hot guy to love :D

Everyone tells me to stay away from Candy Crush, so I've avoided it so far and just stuck to Draw Something, haha. :P

Well I'm excited in addition to stressed, so there is that. But I'm also definitely in need of brain distraction, so I'm working on finding some of that to provide for myself.

LOL, omg your incredibly thoughtful commentary on my "fairest of them all" question. I hadn't really thought about the female connotation on account of having Reedus on my ovaries brain all the time, but you're right! I am now trying to figure out who I think is the fairest of them all in terms of women. Damn, there are just too many. I love Annie the most, but Michelle Pfeiffer is an ungodly kind of beautiful ( ... )

what fic should I pretend I'm going to write next?
You can pretend it's 2005 and write an E/O one. LOL.

What music I'm listening to right now. Okay don't laugh but I can't stop listening to this ridiculous rap thingy: http://youtu.be/i3Jv9fNPjgk

Will try the brain training, it sounds interesting. :)

Heeeeee, E/O. I am beyond loving your love for them, but while 24 did a whole of good things for my life, one bad thing it did was JACK. He has ruined me for all other men, seriously. And yes, that means even Daryl Dixon. I mean I'm totally in love with Daryl Dixon, duh, but nobody will ever be as purely good as Jack is. Nobody. Except Renee, ahahahahaha. /shippy moron

Bwah, your music selection is jiggy! And I have no room to laugh, because I listen to no end of truly terrible shit.

A warning about the brain training -- if you're anything like me, it can make you super nervous. Like, OMG I HAVE TO DO BETTER. I'm calming down slightly about that part, but idk. It does make you do some interesting things with your mind. I have also discovered exactly how terrible I am with spatial memory, which doesn't surprise me, given that I need a map to find my front door . . .

I hope you're having a peaceful Wednesday evening!

Jack really does have it all. :)

I figure if I listen to enough jiggy stuff I will eventually start to work out. The funny thing is I tried to read the "lyrics" to this song and talk about brain training. I think it's English but not completely sure: http://rapgenius.com/Azealia-banks-212-lyrics

I signed up to luminosity. I suck at spatial memory too! Which I knew as well, but now have formal approval. :) I like it even though it's stressful when you "fail".

Thanks! I've been leaving the office before dark every day this week because lots of people took time off. So it's been awesome. <333

THESE LYRICS ARE MAKING ME SOB WITH LAUGHTER.

Okay warm goo in your do-rag is a thing I never needed to think about, seriously. Ohemgee.

One thing that's cool about luminosity is the way the games are so different, so if one of them is really hard for you, you'll probably come upon one that's easier soon.

I'm so glad you're getting a little bit of a break! I am being so freakin' lazy today, because I am just exhausted after the trip, but I've decided that this is fine and as long as I exercise and put all the crap away, I'm good.

It makes me laugh that you're listening to the 48 hours mix. (That's what I called it I think when I made it)

YOU SIGNED UP. I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS.

Remind me to please call you and vent about the insanity of my job and how much I want to punch my program manager. We can commiserate about stress at work. Yes, this is a plan.

You did call it that, YES. And I mean, I loved it at the time. But idk my brain is super weird and I somehow caught a glimpse of that STUPID FUCKING .GIF of Jack and Renee smiling in bed and then I had to listen to a them playlist all the way home yesterday and and and. And one thing led to another and now I have a weird snippet AU in my brain. Oh brain.

MEH, job stress. I can't bitch too much yet, given that I'm not even working at present, but we're supposed to hear from the profs involved with this thing by the 31st (there are something like nine) and we've heard from . . . one. Kinda hard to create a syllabus, man. I'm sorry work is driving you batshit though, BUT ALBINOS KAY, REALLY? We should absolutely talk though, once I forgive you for the albinos answer:P

I don't even know what Iraqi music sounds like, hoosh.

We should work on getting that snippet out of your brain and onto paper. Err, LJ. Tumblr. Whatever.

Short notice and deadlines to hit? Yeah, I know the feeling. At least you aren't living out of hotels the entire time?

Hehehehehe. I blame my bosses for breaking my brain. That and constantly having to translate for delegates buying skin whiteners all the time has made me more snarky than usual. (Would you have been happier if I had said Lady Justice?)

And it sounds a lot like Indian beats, but add in about 8 people dancing and clapping in a 15 passenger van and periodically yelling "lalalalalalalalala" like a Middle Eastern version of the Ricola guy right.in.my.ear.

For 5 hours straight.

This is my life. Siiiiiiigh.

Lady Justice. Bwah.

They sell skin whiteners? How does that even work?

God, that music sounds terrifying. Sorry about that. I hope today at least you don't have to listen to it for five hours.

How long is a GoT season?

I totally made it through two eps of BN before I got steamrolled by the trip. I do plan to watch more when things slow down a little, and my fingers are crossed that Fiona will start to annoy me less. Dammit Renee, you give me such high standards for women!

Woah, even less than TWD. 24 got me SO spoiled. You know, until it didn't.
