My brain is super weird and all over the place at the moment, and I could easily make a list of things that are not awesome, but I'M NOT GOING TO RIGHT NOW. Instead . . .
OMG, adrenalin211. It just occurs to me, because I am legit the world's hugest dork, that the above .gif is me, were I an adorable infant, watching 8x17. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Dude, I cannot stop looking at it and thinking that now. And dying of laugh, because yes of course I wasn't remotely that cute and the blubbering continued well . . . oh wait it hasn't stopped. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, OMG. I am so laughing. God that kid is so cute though.
I have to break out Sarah's Christmas album. That is necessary today.
Here are some awesome things:
1) Sitting by a lit up Christmas tree and stockings and not being at work 2) Reading your car-ride fic ten thousand times while looking at said tree 3) Wanting and drinking coffee 4) The delicious brine my mom used for the turkey 5) The fact that you had snow for your Christmas tree excursion and that I got to see pics 6) Brainstorming what I want to write for Christmas fic for stuff 7) adorable little mouse figurines that look like they're singing carols. And other Christmas decorations. 8) I want to make a gingerbread house. Which is a good thing if I manage to do that this year. 9) Trying to revamp my icons Christmas-style. 10) DID I MENTION YOU WRITING ME FIC? And being awesome?
Holy crap, that is a lot of documents! I'm sorry about all the flood trauma. I don't blame you for stress eating. I just did a great deal of that dealing with my family over the Thanksgiving holiday;)
Also, I love how you follow space news! I never know these things unless you tell me or I happen to catch the headline when I'm reading NPR.
Someone put up a .gif on tumblr the other day that legit almost made me ship Carrie and Brody. Almost.
Well I mean. It's still Claire Danes! LOLOLOLOL. But it was a super cute .gif. I wish tumblr were more user friendly in terms of finding stuff. It's pretty silly.

OMG, M. Is this true? DO YOU WANT TO TAKE AWAY MY CHRISTMAS WITH YOUR HORRIBLE ATHEISTIC WAYS? ;)
Well, impressive is one word. Embarrassing? Dorky? Graceless? Heh. In any case, as I said somewhere upthread, at least there isn't a noticeable bruise, thank goodness.
Fic prompts are so awesome, YES. I also adore snacks, long weekends, and sometimes spellcheck (although it doesn't like my made up words). But not showtunes, at least not all of them;)
Christmassssss! Yes. I am feeling this year, and have been since Nov. 1. I put up more lights yesterday, with only moderate amounts of cursing. But they look great
( ... )
Christmas lights = awesome! I have to go buy some more after I get off work, because apparently a couple of the strings for our tree decided to stop working entirely between last Christmas and this one. It happens. But the tree is so fat and cute!
Oh man, resisting stuff around Christmas is the worst for me, but I'm going to be good and keep my eyes on the possible iPad mini prize.
Geez, it must be super expensive to mail stuff to Australia. Even though the kids want presents that tend to be more expensive than the stuff they used to want, I can't help being glad that their gifts are usually smaller now. It was always such a nightmare getting down to MD with enough crap for a week AND presents in the car.
I need to load up more Christmas music on my iPod!

That was my face! THAT WAS MY FACE. Only less adorable and more blubbering. Those emotions amplified by one thousand.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I'm dying at this.

Christmasy things! Christmasy writing. I can't wait to feel like I've gotten my giving on.
Well one time I dropped a laptop on my nose and it made a really nasty mark. Ugh. I'm so glad you don't have one.
Hahahahaha. I love that .gif. But my reaction to your writing is more like...

I spent the last week moving 10,000 personnel files to another building due to the flood in my building, Yeah.
But I am grateful for a bunch of awesome stuff:
1. My Food Porn has been published and it's pretty good, although I would have used different photos in a different order.
2. I have a job with dental benefits.
3. My flist.
4. Trip to Turkey in 2013, so long as shenanigans between the Turkey/Syria border don't escalate.
5. I have time for a nap before Karate.
6. A new episode of Homeland to watch after Karate.
7. My fast metabolism which can handle my stress eating due to aforementioned flood.
ETA:
8. The Curiosity Rover has found something "History Making" on Mars. NASA is being coy about it.
