i feel weird running on treadmill. it's somewhat unnatural. haaa haa. remember once seeing this woman falling flat and sliding off from the treadmill. really painful, and embarrassing.
I did fumbled once: I ran faster than the treadmill and stepped beyond the track. Luckily, I got my balance back in the next couple of steps. Not as dramatic as the woman you mentioned. Thank God!
I give myself too many excuses when I am running outdoors - too cold; too hot; raining; just rained; looks like it is going to rain; etc. I quite like knowing the distance I ran, the amount of calories I burnt, etc. There is some sense of accomplishment with the knowledge. But I also enjoy running outdoors actually. In nature. The environment is more high energy, more dynamic. However, somehow my legs feel itchy when I run in places like Bishan Park or MacRitchie. And I don't have the discipline to push myself as much outdoors, so my timing suffers.
run so much, skali get bird legs like jenny wong ah!
oh well, it's just me with elephant trunks being sour about your discipline, cos the very most i allow my legs to work out these days is limited to the sphere of my room. sometimes, i levitate. sometimes, i teleport. shh~ don't tell anyone.
actually, running with sufficient nutrition tones the legs! what bird legs?! haha. running is a hobby, a pastime, since i don't have much other forms of entertainment. so i wun say it is really much of a discipline.
