edit: L, I started to say more, and then realized your posts are all public: I'm very careful about what I leave open in cyberspace. Were you meaning to expose your own search and call feelings publicly? Just not sure if you were unsure of the friends-locking process, or if you'd decided to use your journal this way.

Yeah... there are times when I lock journal entries. But I know as a fact that some of my friends who check my journal don't have lj accounts. In general, I make a point of not using specific church names or cities they're located in. In addition, everyone involved these days has only known me since I've been married... In other words, "Hoffman" wouldn't make sense to anyone reading it who wasn't a long-time friend. So in a nutshell, no - I don't care too much about leaving it a public post.
