Lol huh, go figure--kinda wish they'd explained that one. I'm really not one for facial hair, lesbian and all that, but I mean if it's for a good cause I guess that's cool?

It's a charity thing - the idea is that people sponsor you to grow an embarrassing moustache for a month, and the money goes towards prostate and testicular cancer charities. So it is a bit more sophisticated than "Are you aware of moustaches? Are you also aware of cancer?".
It's an odd choice of writer's block question, though. I've come across plenty of women capable of growing moustaches! (Though it'd take a brave woman to actually deliberately grow one for charity.)
