Yay for your double minor! Good luck with your terrifying professor. I had an American Lit prof who I had to take a class with for my minor, and he scared the shit out of me. He knew his stuff, but he was such a hardass and placed such an emphasis on class discussions that I dreaded having to show up twice a week. Turns out a lot of hardcore English majors liked him, and would bitch that those of us who hated him "weren't intelligent enough for his classes". >____> In Soviet Russia, professor is terrified of you!

Oh man, your American Lit prof IS TOTALLY MY RUSSIAN TEACHER but you know, not Russian and in a different subject. That is exactly how it goes in her class, she's terrifying but all the upperclassmen/Russophiles. She's a nice lady, and she does grade tough but fair...she's still fucking traumatizing though.
