Yesterday morning I wake up and think 'I dun wanna go to work', but that's every morning I have to go to work so it's nothing unusual, so I just go about my normal routine. We still have some time before Supernatural and Heroes left (assuming the strike isn't resolved by then), after that I'm gonna freak.

Look at it this way - by the time we run out of new eps, that's when winter hiatus would've started anyway. We wouldn't have been getting new episodes after the end of this month, possibly the first week of December. Maybe until mid to the last week of January, so there are a few "open" weeks they have to strike. With SPN, they do have up to 15 written, just not to the point they're ready to be SHOT. Heroes is such a fuckin' mess - IMHO - when they eventually come back, I hope it's a full-on RELOAD, Marvel-style.

This is true, I think if it goes on then we'll really feel the effects in January when we would expect our shows to come back.

I also think that it'll give the writers to think about new ideas for Heroes and fix the problems that they've been having.

I know what you mean by the problems with hiring students. My former work did that and people would be pissed a lot, including management (at times) and they were the ones hiring them in the first place. Some of them could only work certain hours and/or days or wouldn't show up or call saying they couldn't get a ride even though they said they could get one for sure for the day(s) they were suppose to work.

Oh, man, that's not good at all. I hope they'll be able to get their jobs back. They certainly don't get paid as much as the actors and higher ups, so I hope they'll be ok.

Some of the students that work for us are really good and are really responsible, but others it's like you never see them because they're always giving away their shifts ect.
