For awhile now my mum and I have known we have mice in our place. We could hear them in the walls, but we never saw any of them because the kitties always were there and they didn't dare come out ( Read more... )

Thanks! I don't think we have too many, it just seemed like we have the mouse population of China in our pantry. :P

Wow. You are amazing. If there was a hint of mice inside I would scream and demand someone else had to fix the problem.

I know money is an issue, but have you thought of looking into calling someone in to find their "home." If it is in the walls it means the cats can't get to them, but if they are just in the walls, and they die things could get messy.

Actually our landlord would be the one to pay, so we don't have to worry about that. Mum said to try the traps for a week and if there isn't any results then we'll contact him and see if we can get someone out here.

OMG remember when we were at the cabin and one ran across my mattress?!?! OMG *shivers* IT WAS GOING TO EAT MY FACE OFF!!!!

Your lanlord should have to pay for getting some one to come in and look at the problem.

At least I think he should! :D

No, you're right. If we do need someone it would be his responsibility to pay, so that's a plus. :P

We had mice a couple of years ago, and we're still finding little mouse droppings every now and then. Once those buggers invade, man, they linger FOR.EV.ER. The humane traps work really well, btw. We had a whole family of them and we managed to get rid of them all in just a couple of weeks, and they've never come back.

That's good. We had some humane traps over at the cabin and dad had to get up about 3 times in the night to empty the trap. He must have caught 4 or 5 mice in one night.
