I mean, tonight I saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. I went in knowing I’d like it, but I DIDN’T THINK IT WOULD BE LIKE THAT!!!!!

Haha I so agree on this movie not being subtext, but really just showing them in a relationship, even if John and Mary are happily married. Some of the framing of their scenes and their lines to each other are just screaming TRUE LOVE, RELATIONSHIP, NOT SUBTEXT. I think it also helps that Jude Law and RDJ have an epic bromance off screen, so it really throws away all the subtext to make it just text. :P

I loved loved loved it too, and posted my thoughts. I think I'll have to go see it again because I can't possibly wait until the DVD comes out!

I finally got to see this last night and I loved it. I watch the first one every time it's shown on HBO, no matter how many times i've seen it previously. I agree that it didn't have a lot plot wise, but the fighting was really good.
