I just got home from the hospital. Tonight my dad, who is a bus driver, got assaulted by some crazy guy because he wouldn't give him a free ride. The guy just started beating my dad over the head with a Thermos and went ape shit. All over a stupid $3.75 bus fare. Oh dear God. WHAT EVEN. Just reading this made me panicky, I'm so SO glad he's all right, but...I repeat - WHAT EVEN. Thank goodness this wasn't worse but as it is it's terrible. :| I am so tired of freaking life being shit and messing around with the people I care about. STOP IT, LIFE. YOU'RE NOT FUNNY.

I think he will be. He'll be off work for a few days and some doctors appointments. It sure coudld have been a lot worse, so we're just thankful it was what it was.
