So I had yet another dentist appointment this year (my...sixth so far? Holy crap no wonder the insurance ran out). It was a (free) consult with the orthodontist. They made me wait over an hour for an appointment that lasted - not an exaggeration - less than ten mintues

Sweetie there is nothing wrong with your teeth. This £braces for adults" thing is just an outrageous money-making scam by dentists - and it's starting to creep into the UK mindset now too; not all US imports are of he good. Tell them to bite you & spend your money wisely on toffee:-)

I would like to do SOMETHING with my teeth, as I'm sort of embarassed by them. But I can't see any use in paying all sorts of money for braces if they're just gonna knock my teeth out! Ridiculous!

I'll just rob a bank and use the money for veneers...
