True "Legend of Korra" Dream
I hope it's okay to share fan stories as well as official show news here because I had a freaky dream last night that I was watching The Legend of Korra.
Here's what I remember:
- It was LIVE-ACTION, and I was deeply disappointed and underwhelmed, thinking at the time that it was interesting but couldn't compare with the original series. (I don't have be Dr. Freud to conclude this must be subconscious anger at Shyamalan, do I?)
- The anti-Bender stuff we've heard about played out like pure-blood wizards' superior, racist attitudes towards Muggles and Muggle-born wizards in Harry Potter. I distinctly remember some guy even referred to Earthbenders as "rock roaches."
- Tenzin/Korra, which is just the wishful thinking of my inner shipper.
- Korra had a foil, a female best friend who travels with her, who had black hair and was more quiet and subdued (like Mai) than the heroine.
- Some Waterbending fight against giant spiders.
Am I going to have put up with stuff like this every night until November 2011? Can't I at least dream it in animation?!
