We should have this “Superbowl” thing more often. I just went to the grocery store and it was dead. I mean, a dozen people in the entire store including all of the employees. Dead. And, on the way there, I literally so no one on the streets, no cars, no nothing, until I got to the grocery store parking lot. Wild.

Yeah, my flight today was only half full as well, and that "half" was the "subcontinent" spewing itself towards the USA. Roughly 90% Indians on the flight - I guess any self-respecting "American" was home watching the same. Oh, wait, they were all Americans, lol....

I went to the gym and the supermarket too. Both totally empty except for a few random people and the employees. It was nice.

What's your LYS? (local yarn shop. You're going to learn the lingo *g*)

All of the yarn shops in the area had an anti-Superbowl party - sales, I think some had food. The assumption is apparently that if you like to knit, you must not like football. Except...I do. I still went and bought some yarn though. ;)
