2010

Dec 26, 2010 14:52

So what did I do in 2010? While I thought nothing happened in 2010, there's actually a lot.

I started the year in San Francisco,

and spent countdown in Castro!

met Carlos, Vasco and Jesus. Walked around San Francisco China Town and listened on walls, hearing sounds of mahjong tiles hitting each other.

Then flew back to the burbs in L.A.

to eat In 'n Out

and pack for Manila.

Then went to Seoul after a month

to check on my palace,

and have some authentic Samgyeupsal.

Went back to Manila, for my first photo exhibit,

Then spent Holyweek up north in Cagayan

to see Sta. Ana and its beautiful angry beaches.

We almost got to the Babuyan group of islands, which felt like Batanes.

Then finished the trip in Callao Caves to pray.

Then after a week, went to Bangkok for Songkran,

and witness the red shirts rally!

Since it was really hot, we went to Calatagan for more beach.

And to Capones,

and Anawangin.

Went back to Manila to do the Intramuros tour

and see luneta up close!

Then went on another beach weekend trip, this time it's beautiful Coron.

Witnessed beautiful sunset in Club Paradise, Busuanga.

Went back to Manila to eat the whole of it. Like Bistecca and truffle fries.

And Foie in The Goose Station.

Stayed in Manila for a while to work, work and work.

Then went to Dakak for some rest and relaxation.

Then a week after, embarked on an Amazing Race trip, slept in Jakarta,

sat atop of Borobudur,

meditated in Bali,

dropped by Singapore

to eat some Din Tai Fung Xiao Long Bao.

Then after a few weeks, went to Bacolod

to eat some more good food, like the batchon (which is to die for!)

Went back to Manila to celebrate my birthday!

But left again right after to see Honda Bay,

and the underground river in Puerto Princesa.

and of course, eat. Like this sting ray which is one of the best things I've eaten ever.

Then a few weeks after, went to Hong Kong for some shopping.

And then of course, to eat duck in Yung Kee.

After a month, went to Zamboanga and greeted by the military who escorted us to the beach.

Went to the pink beach to recharge some tan,

Then tried Satti.

Realizing after a year of travels and food, that I had to get back to the gym, so I can prepare and eat some more this Christmas. From one Christmas party,

to another..

While the year hasn't ended, I have three more days before I leave for Taipei and spend new years there.

Looking at the photos, and the time i spent doing this post, it seemed like my 2010 was eventful.

Here's the a better year ahead, with more food, travels and love! :)
