Call me sentimental, but I think there are very few things in life more beautiful than a sleeping child. That is my favorite part of babysitting, and not just because its less work. I adore children and I really enjoy playing with the kids I watch, but there is just something about putting them to sleep... I don't know. They always look so peaceful

not to mention the piles of throw up you'll have to clean, the countless hours of wailing while you try on dresses at the mall, and the future "I can do _______ anytime I want [where the blank is do drugs/have sex/ watch Oprah (thank you Maddox)].

those are only some downsides. really, i want to strive to become a great dad when i grow up, too. i cant even imagine how wonderful it would feel to hold a newborn son, to raise that son and teach it about the beauty in the world, to take him to tiger army concerts...
