[Mark flops down on one of the recliners, keeping Lena in his lap but letting go of her. If she wants to run back to the polar bear, she will have to brave the drop to the floor and try to run through a closed door.

He leans back in the recliner. The TV is on, and they are watching Armageddon.]

Hey, what else are we going to do?

I think he's more embarrassed about us being around him and staring at him in his polar bear-ness.

He would really prefer it if we all pretended like we never pushed him in by the behind into the Crowbar.

[JUST LIKE HE WOULD PREFER IF THE BUNNY INCIDENT WAS NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN.]

Oooh, pizza is good! I like pizza. Get some with like sausage on it so we can feed it to Lena if she's not... back yet.

[Zoe slips down on to the couch, smiling a little at John and shaking her head.]

I'm not an expert but I feel like leaving him alone is what we are doing best for him right now.

It does feel weird, because he's our friend, but he can't talk to anyone right now and he definitely moved over and... slept for a reason.

[She takes in a deep breath.]

He'll shift back once he gets through the embarrassment of being a giant... polar bear. There's a polar bear out in the bar right now. [She wrinkles her nose.] I need to make a list of things I never thought I'd say that I have been saying.

[Oooh, Armaggedon. Nice choice! John probably hasn't seen it, or if he has, he doesn't remember it, and he sinks down onto the couch beside Zoe, in between her and Mark.]

I guess that's true. I know if I'd turned into a polar bear and everyone had to shove me back into the bar by my big polar beat butt, I'd want to be left alone for forever.

Maybe that's drastic, but you know what I mean. I still feel bad for him and hope he isn't embarrassed forever.

I mean, this is us!

[As in, their family. If you can't turn into a polar bear in front of you family, who can you turn into a polar bear in front of? Or something.] That might turn into a long list, but I'd be interested in seeing it.

[Lena struggled and tried reaching for the door at first, but once she saw it was futile, she settled on Mark's lap and she won't be moving, though she'll still stare at the door all longsuffering like. ... And maybe have her ears perk at the mention of sausages
