Today's day two of my apartment search in Ottawa. It's run the range - I've seen some nice placs, I've seen some shitholes, and I saw one place where the lobby was plastered with pictures of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I am LOVING living in Sandy Hill. But that might not be best for you! I have not been to the (experimental??) farm yet!

I've looked at a few places in Sandy Hill, and it would be nice, but most of my rotations are at the Civic, so on that basis, this place makes sense. I did like it when I was here last fall, though. I went for a walk through Sandy Hill and it was awesome. The Glebe was nice, too, but nice places there are a bit out of my price range.

I'm going to miss Halifax but Ottawa rocks! You'll have to tell me where the best tea is. Bridgehead seems pretty cool right now but I'm sure there's somewhere better.

Going to be great to have Dylan & Mary in Ottawa. Just wish I was knew the city better to help you. Lived here all my life, but really only know my little corner of it in the former Nepean.
