You are not pathetic! Who cares what other people have or how fast they're moving. You're doing your own thing and you were having fun (relatively) until your recent car problems. You know what you want to do when you graduate and you don't have to worry about holding down school, a husband, and a child, and a job all at once. Image what a nightmare that would be.
