I don't know why Cyril's look as Rand was so inspiring. Something about that jacket and those fingerless gloves just really got to me. It certainly beat the pimp-esque "Benito" disguise he had going on in the casino--although that leather jacket was nice, too.

I think we need to start standing up for ourselves when it comes to the ridiculous decisions...I know Jose got slated and sometimes went too far but at least he stood up for the club. I'm not fussed if we're not liked, i'd rather someone stood up to the idiots. ;)

I totally agree with you. Even if it doesn't change the officials' behaviour, at least it sends a message to the players (and fans) that someone is fighting in their corner. As for being disliked, well, that had nothing to do with Jose and everything to do with the fact that we were cleaning up on trophies. Ferguson, Wenger, and Benitez have all conducted themselves way more poorly on certain occasions than Jose ever did--and without any of his wit and charm--but apparently they're above censure. X( Not. On.
