Like I said before, the wait for Banlieue 13-Ultimatum is slowly driving me up the wall. I'm in the middle of a giant WIP that fills in after the end of the first movie, but in the meantime the behind-the-scenes snippets from the sequel have inspired some other stuff. This was my first (failed) go to stop _backpages_' whining.

Wheeeee! Fic! I don't care if it fits in with the new canon or not, I love this version of the B13 universe! I think your reason for why Damien stayed away for so long works perfectly, and the relationship between Damien and Leito is precisely what it should be in the new film, had I had any say in that ;-) Please tell me there'll be more?

Aw, thanks! I'm actually hoping they weren't separated in canon, and I've got several other fics in progress, including a giant one, where they get together after the first movie, but the tragic "torn apart by circumstances" scenario does make for some good angst pieces. I'm currently working on another version for _backpages_, who wants Damien to have a bike. I'm down with that. :D

So, yeah, keep checking back. I can't seem to stop myself when it comes to these two.

Yep, I can still see this with disturbing clarity. And, like, surround sound.

Obviously, that means I'm psychically channeling the director's vision of scenes they filmed in Ultimatum, so we'll get to see it all on the big screen. Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease!

Wow! Great fic. Just found this community and very happy about it too. Watched B-13 last spring, but didn't find out about the sequel until I read the two yuletide fic in the fandom and somebody commented about it. VERY happy about that too =)
