Oh, this fits the loveliness of the art SO well! Their posture, Remus' expression, Sirius' erection... it is the perfect story for this piece. I also have a real weakness for Sirius pleasing Remus and this was especially lovely.

And you know what else I loved? The rather nebulous nature of their relationship. Friends? Lovers? Casual lovers? Secret lovers? It really did not matter at all for the story to work!

I didn't set out to write a nebulous relationship, but I am very glad that it turned out that way anyway, as I'm a big fan of writing things that readers can fit into their own personal fanon to the greatest extent possible. The interesting thing is that that sort of nebulousness (is that a word? :P) pretty much defines the pairing that I usually write (Jack/Ianto from Torchwood) -- I wonder if writing that way is instictive to me now, so I don't even realise that I'm doing it. :P
