I hope everyone who reads this will decide (or has already decided) to donate to your favorite reputable charity (Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc). Please stay away from telemarketer donations, and unknown funds and things like that. Stick to the ones you've heard of. I know a lot of you are highschool/college students but give whatever you possibly

I was so glad to see you posted this. I donated to the Red Cross last night after watching nearly two hours of footage of all the destruction. It's heartbreaking. And you're right... you don't need to donate a ton of money. A lot of people think, "Well, I couldn't donate more than X dollars, so what's the point, that's not going to help." At this point, if everyone in the nation were to donate even just $1, it would be helpful.
