So in 2024 I read and finished 75 books, plus 3 short stories, and didn't finish 5 books for various reasons. All of this doesn't include any Bible or fanfic reading

I think I've read at least one or two of most of the series you mentioned, some of them years ago, and then got distracted. Apparently. *lol* I've read all of the Steven Saylor ones, though, I'm pretty sure about that. (In times before I had Goodreads, so it's hard to check!)
I don't know if I've ever mentioned them but have you red the Marcus Corvinus books by David Wishart? I really love(d) those as well but I think I also haven't finished THAT series.
I'll check out David Wishart, though someone says it's full of swearing. I don't mind a bit of that, but it depends on how much and what type it is. Did you find it very sweary?
The 1st person one that I'm really enjoying is the Master Mercurius Mysteries by Graham Brack, set around the time of Charles II of England, but set in The Netherlands (mainly). Master Mercurius is a grumpy old man dictating his adventures to his clerk, and he makes me smile! Good plots usually (though I did figure out the killer in one book well before I should have, but then, I do read and watch an awful lot of detectives books/shows, lol). There's some humour at times in the way he tells the stories too.
