No, the saying is 'a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush', the lol just mixes that up for comic purpose! :)

Thank you. A yay to the golf ones, notably; but it's the 'obedience challenged' one that gives me an 'of course' as well as the best laugh. Besides, that cat is gorgeous.

Those are all awesome! That little bird reminds me of one we had floundering in our large water bowl on the back porch a few summers ago. Gavroche kept barking by the water bowl, but we couldn't figure out why until we went to look. Apparently, the little guy had been getting a drink and somehow fell in, and he couldn't get out. I scooped him out and set him on some rose bushes to dry in the sun. He flew away after a little while, so I guess he was fine!

I think he was baffled as to what that "thing" was in the water bowl, but still... at least he got attention for the little one!!
