December 5th - White Collar
Made for a challenge on tvholics and posted as part of my Advent Calendar - today we have a White Collar fanmix.
This is a general fanmix for the show as a whole rather than for one season, episode or character. That said, it's probably more the first two seasons than the last two. Also, if you haven't seen to the end of S2, one of these song choices won't make much sense and could be considered spoilery.

This always makes me think of Neal's search for Kate when I hear it now.
In The Hall Of Mountain King by Edvard Grieg
This should totally be Mozzie's theme!
I Fought The Law by The Clash
For this, it's the title and chorus rather than the verses that reflect the show. After all, it's a detective show, so of course the law is going to (mainly) win!
One of Our Submarines by Thomas Dolby
The title for this songs makes me think of a certain U-Boat - especially as in the song the submarine is missing! Though the other lyrics don't always fit too well.
Have I Told You Lately That I Love You by Van Morrison
I wanted something to represent Peter and El's love for each other and I think this does it well.
I Got a Hat by The Learning Station
Neal likes hats and I like to throw in the old somewhat crazy or cracked song here and there! It's a kid's song about hats and I could totally imagine little Neal bouncing along to this! No fedoras mentioned, but there is a painter's hat at around 2:13!
