Oh God this was so perfect!! I'm so glad Blaine and his dad made up! Burt is amazing, as always (although, waiting until Christmas Eve to shop? SUCH a bad idea.) And OBVIOUSLY Kurt and Blaine are going to be together forever. Who ever doubted THAT?

Also, OT but I love the "Until then we'll have to muddle through somehow" line SO much better than the line that usually gets used.

idk why but I have head canons about the most random things, and one of those is that Burt Hummel is that guy who rushes out to the mall on Christmas Eve to do all his shopping.

I was super nervous about this chapter and getting it right. The "muddle through somehow" lyric is way better; I read somewhere that Frank Sinatra made the change to "hang a shining star..." for his Christmas album because he wanted something more cheery, but it's not exactly a cheery song. I think Blaine and his dad will always have kind of a bittersweet relationship, but at least they'll try moving forward.

They made up! Oh wow, his dad really had past issues about Blaine being gay, I guess in his own way he was trying to protect Blaine even though he was doing it all wrong. I'm hoping that now that they've opened up things will get better. Can't wait for the next chapter.
