Weekend wrap up

The visit with my dad went as well as expected.  We spent almost an hour there and that was plenty.  The worst part was all the dog hair everywhere.  We couldn't put Aeryn down because she would've been coated in seconds!  I know my mom can't do a great job cleaning but you'd think she'd at least vaccum occasionally.  Instead, they get it done once

Eeek! We've had carpenter bees since we bought this house 3 years ago! We've tried everything! "They" suggest that you spray them, fill the hole and paint the post and supposively the bees don't dig thru freshly painted posts?? We tried it, they still come back...every year. Our front porch is in need of a little tlc anyway so we're just going to replace the whole thing with the pvc decking. Let us know if you get rid of them some how. Good luck!
