Yep, chocolate as my favorite food and his name is Shea as in the stadium of my honey's favorite baseball team, NY Mets

Can I be very nosy and ask if you got him from a nearby breeder? We found a breeder up in Greenfield, MA, with beautiful chocolate labs, but OMG expensive. I can't see paying $1000 for a dog, no matter the pedigree, especially when there is a neutering clause in the purchase contract.

Great story actually. My friends co-worker's dog fathered the litter. She should have gotten a large fee for this, but agreed to take a puppy instead. As the weeks were going by she panicked, not ready for a puppy again and looked for a home as she couldn't get out of the agreement. As the weeks go by down goes the cost of the puppy. We got him at 11 weeks old and gave the woman $100. In the paper they were still priced at $600 for the few that were left. I was glad to get him a bit older since he had the time to socialize with brothers

i had a black lab x for many years.. his name was Onyx and he was the coolest *nods* just umm cause you wanted to know that.. *grins*

Onyx like our boy's Severus' eyes. Gotta love a cool dog. He's my first ever dog, so I'm like a typical nervous mother reading every puppy book I can get my hands on.

He is sooooooo cute! How old? 12 weeks? My condolences to your furniture. :) What a sweet boy! Does he have a name yet?

Thanks. So far the furniture has done fairly well. I'm spraying bitter apple to protect it, but I think he's acquiring a taste for it. :) His name is Shea like the stadium as my honey is a Mets fan.
Shea likes to keep the theme going with a blue harness and orange leash and chews on baseballs whenever possible.
