(Part 1)

“Yoseob, stop it,” Kikwang whispered while sitting beside him at the breakfast table.

Yoseob had been running his hand up and down Kikwang’s leg for quite some time. His hand inched closer and closer to Kikwang’s crotch causing him to jump. Frustrated Kikwang grabs Yoseob’s hand and glares at him before standing and leaving the room. Yoseob’s smirks at his handy work and quickly follows Kikwang to their deserted bedroom.

Kikwang is sitting on the bed waiting for Yoseob to enter the room. He grins as he enters the door. “What’s wrong Kiki?” Yoseob moved forward to stand in front of Kikwang using one hand to pull his head up by the chin.

Kikwang shoved Yoseob’s hand away looking to the left in annoyance. “What do you want Yoseob? I don’t feel like playing this morning.” Yoseob looked down surprised at his lover’s actions. “Do you want a quickie before we leave for schedules? Did you want to have a hot make out session? A blowjob? Because honestly I’m not in the mood and I’m tired of you teasing me.”

Yoseob stepped back shocked, mouth dropping open. “Kiki? What are you saying?” Yoseob didn’t know whether to touch Kikwang or not in his mood.

“You heard me Yoseob. I’m tired of you using me for your fun. I’m not your sex toy.” Kikwang folded his arms and looked firmly at Yoseob while he spoke the heart wrenching words.

Yoseob felt a stab of pain in his chest at the realization of how Kikwang felt. His hands hung motionless at his sides, stuck in a trance, staring back at Kikwang. Yoseob was confused as to why Kikwang felt this way about their relationship. He had only ever shown Kikwang how much he loved him. It wasn’t a physical thing for Yoseob to be with Kikwang. He could abstain from sex and still be in complete bliss just by having Kikwang by his side. He just thought Kikwang wanted more, which is why he always tried so hard to please his lover. In whatever action he did, Yoseob always had Kikwang’s happiness as his top priority.

Kikwang on the other hand, felt that Yoseob was becoming to clingy and needy. He didn’t understand why Yoseob had suddenly made their relationship so sexual and urge driven. It’s not that Kikwang didn’t like the lust filled quickies in the morning or before a show, he just missed the times where he and Yoseob would simply cuddle and spend time together talking about life. He was beginning to feel disconnected from the person he loved so much and had no idea as to why it was happening. So instead of fueling the fire by continuing in these sexually deviant escapades with Yoseob, Kikwang decided to draw a line and create space between him and his lover.

He hated the idea of being separated from Yoseob in even just this small manner but he wasn’t sure of how much more he could take. “Yoseob, I think we should take a break.”

The older male frowned. His mouth was the only part of his body that moved in response to Kikwang’s words. Yoseob was trying to measure the meaning behind the phrase, to see if Kikwang was being serious, to try and understand to what extent Kikwang meant by taking a break. Did Kikwang not want to see each other anymore? Was Kikwang just referring to a break in their sexual acts? Or was Kikwang suggesting he was unhappy in this relationship? Yoseob couldn’t focus on any one idea; instead he shook his head as if to expel all of the bad thoughts issueing from his brain.

Yoseob didn’t want a break from Kikwang. Yoseob didn’t want to imagine them not being together as a couple. Yoseob hated when Kikwang wouldn’t explain himself fully, leaving Yoseob to ponder his lover’s real intentions. Everything had always been left up to interpretation from Kikwang’s point of view and Yoseob just couldn’t figure some things out.

“Did you hear me Yoseob?” Kikwang asked gaining his attention.

Yoseob blinked a few times before responding. “Kiki, stop calling me that,” he ordered. Kikwang tilted his head in confusion. “You never called me Yoseob. It’s always been Seob or Seobie or YangYo or Baby or Love or Honey, but never Yoseob. I don’t like it.”

Kikwang stood up from the end of the bed. He took a few paces forward, standing face-to-face with Yoseob. “I’m being serious Yoseob.” He reached up to touch Yoseob’s arm but the older male turned out of reach.

“So am I,” he stated. “I don’t know why you’ve suddenly become like this but I don’t like it,” he repeated.

“I should be asking you the same thing,” Kikwang countered placing his hands on his hips. “You’re always so needy these days. You always try something at the most inappropriate times. I never get any rest because you are always at it with me. What’s happened to you? I miss my old Seobie Baby?”

Yoseob furrowed his brow in confusion. “I don’t understand,” he said shaking his head. “I thought you liked being more physical. I thought that was what you wanted.”

Kikwang’s eyes widened. “What gave you that idea?”

“More like a who,” Yoseob answered. “Dongwoon said you were complaining about wanting more attention from me and how you felt like I didn’t love you as much anymore. I just thought I would show it to you. I wanted to prove my love for you.”

Kikwang chuckled before pulling a stunned Yoseob into a tight embrace. “I never said anything like that to Dongwoon.” Kikwang’s voice became stern. “I have no idea why he would say such things to you.”

Yoseob melted into Kikwang’s arms, his recent fears disappearing as quickly as they came. He clutched tight to Kikwang’s waist and pressed his head into Kikwang’s chest. “Don’t ever scare me like that again. I thought you were going to leave me.”

Kikwang heaved a sigh of regret at his sudden lashing out towards Seobie. “I’m sorry Baby.”

Yoseob shook his head. “You shouldn’t jump to conclusions when you are annoyed. At least come and talk to me, especially when it’s regarding our relationship.” He paused for a moment. “I will also never take Dongwoon too seriously when he says something concerning your feelings or anyone else for that matter. I promise to come straight to you.”

“You know Seobie, now that you mention it, Dongwoon has been acting strange lately. He’s part of the reason I was so irritated with you. He kept telling me things about you and how you love me for my body. He even said you called me a silly clueless fool. And when you started becoming more physical, I thought he might be right about you.” Kikwang kissed the top of Yoseob’s head. “I’m sorry I thought badly of you.”

Yoseob leaned back to smile at Kikwang; it was that irresistible smile that always made Kikwang weak at the knees. “I wonder why our little Woonie is acting this way?”

“Beats me.” Kikwang shrugged watching Yoseob’s face scrunch in thought.

Yoseob turned and paced the small floor area of the room, stopping suddenly and raising his finger in the air as if to say, “I have a bright idea.”

“What are you thinking Seobie?” Kikwang asked skeptically. He had known of Yoseob’s crazy ideas for a long time and had even participated in a few of them, so he knew how dangerous it was when Yoseob got an idea in his head.

“I have the perfect way to figure out what Woonie’s reasoning is behind all of this.” Kikwang waited patiently for Yoseob to gather his thoughts and continue. “What if we did what Woonie clearly planned for us to do?”

“And what’s that?”

“He wanted us to break up. He egged both of us to the point where you were negative towards me and my actions continued to push you away. This was clearly a plan to separate us. Why don’t we just go along with it?”

“I don’t know Seobie,” Kikwang mumbled. “I don’t think this is such a good idea. What if it backfires?”

“C’mon Kiki. I want to know why he was so desperate to break us up. We can start now even. He saw the spectacle in the kitchen a few minutes ago. He probably expects us to be fighting right now.” Yoseob was pleading with Kikwang now, eager to know the maknae’s intentions behind his actions. “If we don’t get our answer in a few days we can get back together like nothing happened.”

Kikwang shook his head still worried about the endless troubles that could arise in Yoseob’s scheme. “I don’t know Seobie.”

Yoseob ignored Kikwang’s protests. Instead, he faced him, placing a hand on either side of Kikwang’s face and attached their lips together kissing him fervently. Attacking his lover’s lips in a manner leaving them both breathless and dazed. Sighing Yoseob pulled back and away from Kikwang. “I just needed to get that out of my system before we decided to play mad at one another.”

“Who said I agreed to go along with this plan?” Kikwang whispered.

“I did,” Yoseob stated with authority. “And if you don’t do this, I will truly be annoyed with you to the point of not talking to you.”

Kikwang giving into defeat simply nodded his head and waited for Yoseob to give instructions. “This is simple, we have a fight and make it known to the group. Then when Dongwoon comes into the picture, play the role of a broken hearted lover. Just do what Dongwoon expects and I’m sure we will find an answer to our mystery.” Kikwang sighed in silent understanding of his role. “I think you should initiate the fight Kiki, after all you were the one who stormed out of the kitchen.”

“Fine,” Kikwang said defeated. He pulled Yoseob in for another hot kiss. Moving their lips together in a manner so steamy it should be considered a sin. He sucked at Yoseob’s bottom lip, smiling as the older male whimpered underneath his skilled lips. Kikwang’s tongue darted out and found its dance partner in Yoseob’s open mouth. They enjoyed the intimate act until breathing became necessary. “I’m sorry if I say or do anything mean to you, but it was your idea,” Kikwang breathed.

Yoseob grinned at his worried boyfriend. “Don’t worry. I know you’re just acting and this is only temporary.”

Kikwang gave him one last peck on the lips before frowning and backing away. He pouted at Yoseob before speaking loud enough for his voice to carry to the other parts of the dorm. “I’m so sick of this! I’m tired of you and your stupid games! Why don’t you just leave me alone?!?” In a whisper Kikwang added, “I so hate you for making me the bad guy.”

“I love you,” Yoseob whispered in reply before shouting as well. “Fine! If that’s how you feel then maybe we should just break up!”

“Sounds good to me! You’re too needy anyways. I’m tired of constantly trying to please you!” Kikwang covered his face in shame at the words he was throwing at his lover.

“Needy? You think I’m needy?!?” Yoseob turned and stomped towards the door, clearly enjoying this game a little too much. “If that’s what you think then I will leave you alone!” He opened the door before turning to blow a kiss at Kikwang. “Consider us officially over!” He stepped into the hallway and slammed the door before retreating into the bathroom to feign being upset about the “breakup.”

They both agreed the performance was rather interesting and believable. The other group members who had been eating breakfast at the time were stunned into silence. The outburst down the hall in their shared bedroom was enough to send a cold chill through everyone’s spine. It was almost unbelievable that the cutest couple in BEAST had just broken up. How would the group continue to function with two of the members suddenly at each other’s throats?

Dongwoon pretended to be as surprised as the other guys in the group but on the inside he was writhing with glee. His plan had worked. His mission was a success. He had officially gotten what he wanted, which was the termination of the KiSeob couple. Why had he decided to break these two apart? Only time will tell.
