Sold.

Soon as I get home I am snagging that book--the first chapter is available on Amazon, and as a lover of post-apocalyptic stories, and m/m stories...and first person too, I can't wait to wrap myself into this book.

And I'll likely get the next, too. Thanks! Nice review!

Whoo! ::rubs hands together:: My plan works! I love that you (and hopefully other readers) will find their way to this terrific book. It's so easy to miss good reads these days.

I do hope you enjoy it, and I'd love to hear what you think of the sequel!

Cheers,
L xo

I read every post-apocalyptic story I can get my hands on. It all started when a friend of mine was horrified I had never read the original Day of the Triffids. I got it and was totally smitten. My current favs are FEED and DEADLINE by Mira Grant.

And this being m/m is just icing!!!

You're my favorite kind of reader -- hungry! May I suggest Syd McGinley's OUT OF THE WOODS and (humbly) my own SERVANT OF THE SEASONS, both from Torquere, both M/M? (links take you to our web pages with descriptions and excerpts.)

I'll have to check out the Mira Grant titles -- she's new to me.
